Palm Beach Dramaworks is gearing up for a full new season with some special programming and talks. On Thursday October 8th there will be a lunch at Grease restaurant on Clematis street then a discussion of Picnic by William Inge in the Dramaworks theatre. Picnic follows a handsome stranger who drifts into a small Kansas town and awakens the dormant dreams and repressed desires of a group of lonely women in this Pulitzer Prize-winning play.

Picnic opens October 9th and runs until November 8. Knowledge & Nibbles gives theater lovers the chance to engage with other patrons at a local restaurant, followed by an intimate talk with the director, actors, and designers of the current production. Sandra-Schulman Sandra Schulman is an arts writer, music and film producer. Born in Miami, her work has appeared in Billboard, Variety, Rolling Stone, Ocean Drive, Country Music Magazine, The New York Daily News, News From Indian Country, and Entertainment Weekly. She was an entertainment columnist for the South Florida Sun-Sentinel for 8 years. She has authored three books on pop culture. She currently lives in West Palm Beach with her blue eyed whippet.
