The Gardens Malls nearby West Palm Beach will host The Art of Dr. Seuss Collection Exhibition this coming year, from January 17 until February 14.

For over 60 years, Dr. Seuss’ illustrations have brought a visual realization to his fantastic and imaginary worlds. However, his artistic talent went far beyond the printed page. The Gardens Mall is honored to present, in conjunction with the venerable Ann Jackson Gallery of Atlanta, Georgia, “The Art of Dr. Seuss Collection.”

This collaborative, museum-quality exhibition features compelling selections of artworks and sculptures from The Art of Dr. Seuss, works from Dr. Seuss’ best-known children’s books, and The Secret Art of  Dr. Seuss, a mind-expanding collection based on decades of artwork that Dr. Seuss created at night for his own personal pleasure. Perhaps the wackiest and most wonderful elements of the collection are  Dr. Seuss’ three-dimensional “Unorthodox Taxidermy” sculptures with names like The Carbonic Walrus, The Two-Horned Drouberhannis, and the Goo-Goo-Eyed Tasmanian Wolghast. This carefully curated collection also includes bronze sculptures; many of which have traveled to, or been permanently placed at, major public and private venues around the United States.
