Bodega: New Mexican street food concept coming to West Palm Beach

With over-the-top Mexican street food, authentic beverages, and a full-sized, retrofitted vintage airstream trailer-turned-taco-truck, Bodega specializes in tacos and tortas, homemade sodas, and authentic beverages in a dynamic, eclectic “Puebla” inspired setting for locals and visitors.

The corner at 118 S Clematis St, downtown West Palm Beach, has always been a prime location for restaurants. We’ve seen unique brands at these premises in the past decade and soon, one of the fastest-growing restaurant brands—Bodega Taqueria y Tequila—will debut its popular over-the-top Mexican street food and authentic beverages in the perfect location for their tricked-out taco truck interior concept.

Bodega, South Florida’s iconic brand known for its fast-casual taco joint by day and speakeasy-style lounge by night concepts, continues its plan of significant growth in the South Florida market. They have announced today that leases for its full Bodega Taqueria y Tequila concept have been signed on four new locations across South Florida, one of them right here at 118 S Clematis St, West Palm Beach.

The new restaurant will feature the brand’s signature food & beverage menus and speakeasy lounge. It is slated to open in the fourth quarter of this year. Construction has already commenced.

Bodega Taqueria will mirror the award-winning fast-casual food portion and will offer a menu of tacos, burritos, and other customer favorites as well as frozen margaritas and bottled cocktails. Bodega’s concept will very much come alive at night, serving up tequila and cocktails in an environment that will bring the fabric of the community together for late-night conversation, performances, and fun.

“The fast-casual restaurant model is more relevant now than ever before – people want fast quick service of authentic cuisine at approachable prices,” said Jared Galbut, Co-Founder & President of Menin Hospitality. “With the influx and growth of Florida, we’ve been presented with the opportunity to push our expansion efforts for both our Taqueria y Tequila and Taqueria concepts throughout the entire state.

Amid the pandemic, Bodega saw an increase in demand for its take-out and delivery orders reinforcing the need and desire to expand with a Taqueria-only concept. The brand has built a loyal following among Miami’s locals and visitors alike that will definitely be an experience that will delight customers in our area.

Besides the four new locations—West Palm Beach, Coconut Grove, Aventura, and Wynwood—they have other locations confirmed to open in 2022 in Surfside & Bal Harbour, and in 2023 in downtown Miami inside of Natiivo Miami, servicing the Brickell area.

The upcoming retrofitted vintage airstream trailer-turned-taco-truck eatery will be a welcomed addition to a popular dining destination in West Palm, with fast-casual Mexican cuisine that has received incredible accolades from the restaurant and entertainment industries. GQ Magazine named Bodega “the most popular restaurant in the entire state of Florida for late-night eats”. So, most likely Bodega will become one of the hottest spots worth visiting in the Palm Beaches.
