Cove Cafe, a new coastal-inspired Italian eatery by North End Hospitality, is now open at the base of the Icon Marina Village apartment towers, located at 4340 N Flagler Dr, West Palm Beach. The cafe is a collaboration between West Palm Beach-based NDT Development and restaurateur Nick Coniglio, featuring a chef-driven menu that highlights house-made ingredients and premium-sourced products.

Currently open for lunch Tuesday through Friday from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Cove Cafe has plans to expand its hours to include dinner and weekend service in the near future. The menu offers a curated selection of artisan pizzas, salads, sandwiches, and small plates, with breakfast service also on the horizon.

Expanding North End Hospitality’s Culinary Footprint

Following the success of Cucina Palm Beach, NDT Development and Coniglio launched North End Hospitality, introducing Cove Club in 2023 and Lamarina later that year. With Cove Cafe now open, North End Hospitality is further cementing its reputation as a leading force in West Palm Beach’s Northwood hospitality scene.

“At Cove Cafe, we set out to create a neighborhood pizzeria that goes beyond the ordinary, focusing on high-quality ingredients and bold, chef-driven flavors,” says Executive Chef Alex Bustamante of North End Hospitality. “Our menu draws inspiration from classic techniques and global influences. Nearly everything is made in-house—from our rich pizza sauce to handcrafted sausage and fresh dough—because we believe great food starts with quality ingredients. At Cove Cafe, we’re dedicated to delivering an elevated, chef-curated pizzeria experience that’s destined to become a neighborhood favorite.”

A Commitment to Freshness and Quality

Cove Cafe embraces a true from-scratch philosophy, preparing nearly every component in-house each day. From the rich, slow-simmered pizza sauce to the house-made sausage, tender meatballs, braised short ribs, and freshly kneaded dough, the kitchen is driven by craftsmanship and care. Even the sandwich meats—like herb-roasted turkey and perfectly cooked prime rib—are made in-house to ensure every bite delivers on flavor and freshness.

To complement what’s made on-site, the cafe sources select ingredients from top-tier purveyors known for their quality. The signature cheese blend combines fresh mozzarella, Parmigiano Reggiano, and Fontina, chosen specifically for its complexity and balance. Bread arrives daily from Sullivan Street Bakery, the famed New York institution now serving Florida with its artisanal loaves. As for the cured meats—pepperoni, prosciutto, capicola, soppressata, and ham—they’re sourced from Fra’Mani in California, where only 100% all-natural meats are used, free from sulfates and preservatives, ensuring a clean, exceptional taste.

A Coastal Italian Experience in a Relaxed Setting

Designed as a fresh take on coastal Italian dining, Cove Cafe blends elevated flavors with a laid-back, inviting atmosphere. Its menu of pizzas, sandwiches, salads, and shareable appetizers is meant to be enjoyed in a space that reflects the vibrant energy of West Palm Beach. Open to the public, Cove Cafe serves as an extension of its sister concept, Cove Club.
