FLAVOR Palm Beach, a Month of Amazing Restaurant Deals

Many restaurants in Palm Beach county offer prix fixe menus for lunch and dinner during the entire month of September, known locally as Flavor Palm Beach. Here's a look at discounts in your favorite restaurants in West Palm Beach.

This September, take advantage of restaurant deals all across Palm Beach County with FLAVOR Palm Beach, the restaurant month of the Palm Beaches. During this month, around 50 restaurants from Tequesta to Boca Raton will offer specially priced three-course meals to showcase popular items on their menus. Patrons will be able to enjoy lunch from $20 and dinner from $30 at these fine local restaurants, getting a sampling of the restaurant’s offerings at one low, pre-set price.

Looking for the best FLAVOR Palm Beach deals in West Palm Beach? I’ve got you covered!

Participating restaurants in West Palm Beach alone include The Butcher Shop, Maison Carlos, The Regional Kitchen & Public House, Cafe Centro, Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse, BRIO Tuscan Grille, Il Bellagio, Pistache French Bistro, and Raindancer Steakhouse. There are also eleven restaurants in Palm Beach participating in FLAVOR Palm Beach.

FLAVOR Palm Beach offerings gives back to the community. Every reservation made through their website benefits the Palm Beach County Food Bank, an important organization working to fight hunger in our area.

Best FLAVOR Palm Beach Deals

Whether you attempt to try them all or only make a reservation at a select few, FLAVOR Palm Beach offers a wide variety of great deals to sample.

One of my favorite offerings this year is the dinner menu curated by Chef Lindsay Autry at The Regional Kitchen & Public House. For $40, you’ll sample unique Southern cooking and choose between a Florida shrimp gumbo, butter lettuce salad, or fried chicken thighs (brined in sweet tea!) as your appetizer, then select a main course of skirt steak, rainbow trout, chicken, or garganelli pasta. Polish it off with angel food cake or chocolate layer cake and round out a memorable meal.

During lunch hours The Regional will offer a $20 menu.

I highly recommend trying the shrimp gumbo and dousing it with some of the house-recipe hot sauce! (You’ll find a bottle of it on every table, and once you try it, you won’t be the first person to ask to buy a bottle to take home—there’s one in my fridge as we speak.) The crispy rainbow trout is also delectable; it’s lightly fried and creatively presented, and has a great flavor. Of course, you’ll want to enjoy your dinner with a nice wine or a signature cocktail, priced separately. ‘Under the Bridge’ is a personal favorite—it’s a bourbon-based cocktail with cherry flavors and an absinthe rinse—but the Whistlin’ Dixie and the Eastern Standard are popular choices as well.

Though it’s located just north of us in Palm Beach Gardens, III Forks is another incredible FLAVOR Palm Beach deal. It’s certainly the only time you’ll be able to score a $45 dinner there!

For the first course, select from braised pork belly on an open-faced buttermilk biscuit, ahi tuna poke, or chilled shrimp cocktail; enjoy one of two salads for the second course; for the third and final course, proceed to indulge in a 6-oz filet mignon with red wine shallot creamed mushroom sauce, a 14-oz double-cut pork chop with peach serrano barbeque and mashed potato, or blackened snapper with pineapple chutney wild rice. This upscale steakhouse serves some of the most delicious steaks, sides, and desserts I’ve had in our area (and trust me, I’ve had a lot of desserts).

Pistache is another one of my favorite spots in West Palm Beach. During FLAVOR Palm Beach, you can score a combination like escargots, coq au vin, and gateau aux pommes for just $40. Raindancer Steakhouse is offering a $15 “power lunch” ($20 with dessert) consisting of a soup or salad and main courses like salmon, steak, and a cheeseburger.

September is the ideal month for exploring new local restaurants and trying places that you normally might not dare to splurge on. Make your reservations today—FLAVOR Palm Beach spots fill up quickly. Book online through the FLAVOR Palm Beach website to ensure that your reservation benefits the food bank.

And let me know what places you try!

From paradise,

Skye
