If you’re a true music fanatic or just like catching up on the latest and greatest artists, our own music festival [SunFest] will definitely impress you. Along the music stages about 50 artists or bands will deliver their best music acts this year as past performers have done so magnificently, just as we remember: “Pretty Lights, Daughtry, Goo Goo Dolls, Mac Miller, Slightly Stupid, Pit Bull, Counting Crows, Kid Rock, Ellie Goulding” and hundreds more.
Let’s get pumped for SunFest 2015. The lineup of performers is one of the best in all SunFest history. Check it out here…
SunFest Party Barges
Technically, the area is called Captain Morgan’s Floating Oasis. But, most Sunfest-goers know the sanctuary as the “party barges.” In the midst of the Intracoastal Waterway, three floating barges are the escape to the high-volume music, blazing sun and masses of people known to Sunfest.
The floating retreats feature Captain Morgan cocktails, entertaining games, dance music by the house DJs.
North Oasis – ESPN Radio 106.3 FM will offer a sports- themed atmosphere with Josh Cohen and the team with fun games, TV’s with the NFL Draft, NBA Playoffs, Kentucky Derby and more.
Middle Oasis – The unofficial “party barge” features dance music by house DJ’s and WiLD 95.5 with Elvis Duran and the WiLD morning show.
South Oasis – Check out the new hottest tropical oasis with the tiki lounge afloat at SunFest. This is the spot to experience Captain Morgan’s 3 NEW Tropical Flavors with Captain Morgan White Rum and enjoy a mix of music and good times with 97.9 WRMF and the KVJ Show.
SunFest barges are a themed atmosphere and a fun place to interact with friends. These are spaces to basically kick back, relax, mingle, dance a little and drink the night away. It’s the key to unlocking some of the most enjoyable and exciting mix of entertainment at this lively event.
Sorry kids, you must be 21 years or older to get on these barges.

Things the kids can do at SunFest
When you first think of Sunfest, kid-friendly isn’t the first thing that comes to mind. Between the loud music, crowds of people and alcohol everywhere, it doesn’t seem conducive to the little ones, but that’s far from the truth.
A family-friendly event for all ages, Sunfest is also a good festival to bring the youngsters. Bursting with kids-size fun, entertainment and activities, the Youth Park offers a haven for Sunfest’s youngest patrons and those young at heart to spend their afternoons.
This year too, children 5 and under are admitted free to SunFest when accompanied by an adult, courtesy of Wells Fargo. The Youth Park area will offer many activities for children including lots of interactive games and activities. Actually, it is a hot spot for families, a mini-SunFest with kid-size fun and entertainment.
Firework Show to close 2015 SunFest Festival
Remember that fireworks are not only to celebrate the Fourth of July or New Year’s Eve. Sunfest certainly makes a stands for it. A spectacular firework show will end five days of a well-acclaimed Sunfest event that knows how to keep an audience captive in downtown West Palm Beach. This will happen on Sunday, May 3 at 9 p.m.
Get ready to break out your “ooohs” and “ahhhs.” Lighting up the night sky in beautiful bursts of red, green, blue, orange, purple, pink, yellow and white, the Sunfest’s firework show is one you won’t want to miss. The show features some of our favorite type of firework effects including: the peony, a spherical break of colored stars, the palm, imagery similar to a palm tree when it bursts, and the willow, a trail of silver or gold stars that produces a weeping willow effect.
