Muscle Maker Grill Restaurant, the Definition of a Power Meal

The restaurant is already popular with the lunchtime crowd, but also serves healthy breakfast items and meal plans that include a choice of meals from their menu. Muscle Maker Grill is poised to become a hit in the local scene for its balanced, low-calorie takes on mainstream dishes.

When the lunch rush hits, you can head to a new health-conscious eatery just a block from the hustle and bustle of Clematis Street. Recent weeks saw the debut of a West Palm Beach location of the Muscle Maker Grill franchise, located on the northeast corner of Datura and South Olive Avenue. The franchise is a nutritionally focused chain founded in 1995 that aims to provide tasty, healthy meals at affordable prices.

The new Muscle Maker Grill restaurant is poised to become a hit in the local scene for its light, balanced, and low-calorie takes on mainstream dishes. The result is quick service but flavorful, high-quality meals that are nutritious and, yes, delicious. The food will appeal not only to dedicated fitness enthusiasts but also to those who are just beginning their journey to a healthier lifestyle or those who simply want to grab a nourishing meal on the go. There are also options for every dietary preference, from carb-free to gluten-free to vegetarian and more.

My husband and I stopped in to try Muscle Maker Grill for ourselves. He ordered a flatbread called “The Works,” which is a whole-grain flatbread topped with turkey meatballs, turkey bacon, turkey pepperoni, part-skim mozzarella, red onions, green peppers, mushrooms, and fat-free marinara. It must’ve been good, because he devoured the whole thing before I could steal a bite!

I opted for one of the Fit Bowls: the Godfather, as recommended by the manager, Stephanie. It comes with chicken, portabella mushrooms (I skipped these), roasted red peppers, part-skim mozzarella, and fat-free balsamic vinaigrette served over a bed of steamed broccoli. It was delicious and so filling that I even had a small amount left to take home for later.

Though Muscle Maker Grill is already popular with the lunchtime crowd, the restaurant also serves healthy breakfast items, such as wraps and bowls. In the morning, you can stop by for a smoothie, protein shake, or a hearty bowl of oats dressed with fruits, peanut butter, almond milk, or a variety of other healthy add-ons. Breakfast wraps are another popular menu item, as they’re filled with eggs, meats, and veggies that will keep you going all day long.

Though dining in and people-watching or grabbing a healthy meal to go are both popular ways to enjoy the new presence of Muscle Maker Grill restaurant on the downtown scene, they’re not the only ways. In fact, the final way is likely to become a popular choice for locals who desire to eat a health-focused diet but lack the time and energy that goes into preparing a week’s worth of light and nutritionally balanced meals. Muscle Maker Grill offers meal plans starting at just $35. The meals are available for pickup or delivery on Mondays and Thursdays between 4 p.m. and 8 p.m.

Muscle Maker Grill’s meal plans include a choice of meals from their menu, such as the Mardi Gras salad (with Cajun grilled chicken breast and turkey bacon on a blend of power greens), Champion pasta (grilled chicken breast and turkey meatballs with mozzarella and marinara over whole wheat penne pasta), a large selection of wraps and bowls, and more. Meal plan options range from five meals for $35 to twenty meals for $125, with a couple options in between.

Eating healthy all week long with no cooking, cleanup, meal planning, grocery shopping, recipe trying, or Pinterest searching…? No matter whether you gobble up the meals at home or in the office, I’d call that the definition of a power lunch.
