Phillip Phillips Concert at Sunfest 2013 (May 4)
Phillip Phillips is an American singer-songwriter who won the eleventh season of American Idol on May 23, 2012. His coronation song, “Home,” released after his win, became the best selling of all coronation songs. His debut album The World from the Side of the Moon was released on November 19, 2012. A second album, Behind the Light, was released on May 19, 2014.
The SunFest 2013 lineup included Kendrick Lamar, Train, Smashing Pumpkins, but this handsome, gentle musician who is a very humble and reserved person was one of the most acclaimed acts. Phillips’ coronation song, “Home,” was a great success during his long performance gig in SunFest.
Sun Fest annually rocks South Florida from the last Wednesday of April to the first Sunday of May. The festival features Three State-of-The Art Live Music Stages showcasing over 50 great bands of local and national performing artists.
