SunFest 2015 Started Wednesday 29 with Good Vibes!

Just a few days before this Wednesday morning, rain was nagging everyone of us each day. I wonder how many folks were double-checking at every trice how the weather was going to be like for SunFest opening day.

But fortunately, SunFest 2015 started Wednesday 29 with Good Vibes! And that was well-deserved for an enthusiast crowd that eagerly reserved tickets for performances including: Wilco and Lenny Kravitz, the opening-night headliner to close the first day of #SunFest 2015 who drew thousands of people to the Ford Stage.

Our beloved Clematis Street looked dazzling this afternoon by 5:00PM when most revelers started flooding down towards the entrance of SunFest. The bright-yellow colors of the welcoming banner was like a magnet, enticing everyone to walk through it and even stopping to take pictures as their first memories of a full-blown 5 days span of music awaiting them.

Though the music spectrum was matchless (Just think about this for a minute, Lenny Kravitz at the Ford Stage and opposite, Wilco at the Tire Kingdom Stage), one of the rock stars of the night was also the food. This year’s vendors seemed to agree that one distinguishing note of the festival could be their food. And indeed it did!!! One of the fan’s favorite was Shake Shack burgers. The modern day “roadside” burger stand also carried delicious burgers, hotdogs, shakes, and beer to cap off the hungry revelers in-between performances.

Today, West Palm Beach has seen 33 years of SunFest in Florida unfold as strong as ever before. Focusing more on music, the line up performances met their fans expectations. It will only get much better from the opening day going forward.
