If you can appreciate authentic seafood flavors, self-indulgent drinks and funky entertainment, then Tin Fish Clematis Restaurant is your place to hang out. Andy Noonan, manager of the restaurant proudly says: “People come from all over to dine, drink and have a good time here.”
Opened in May 2012 on Clematis Street, Downtown West Palm Beach, Tin Fish Restaurant was the fifth restaurant celebrated in Florida in a chain of thirteen. Each restaurant provides a look and experience as unique as the location itself. The laid-back and sometimes high-energy filled eatery features three dining areas, an outdoor patio overlooking the mesmerizing waterfront, an indoor seating area bringing you the best seafood fare, and an upstairs bars where guests can savor delicious drinks and relish in fun entertainment.
What makes Tin Fish Clematis Restaurant so popular is its fresh, grilled fish, seafood and signature lightly breaded, old school deep-fried items. “Fish tacos cooked like ours can’t be found anywhere else,” said Noonan. Soft flower tortillas filled with cabbage, cheddar cheese and homemade salsa drizzled with a ranch-based sauce and piled high with your choice of fried cod, salmon, mahi mahi, shrimp, calamari, fried lobster or scallops. It’s one choice you’ll make for the day that can’t go wrong.
In addition to its succulent tacos, you’ll find mouth-watering menu items like fish and chips, New England style clam chowder and fried oyster po boy sandwiches. A favorite within the kitchen, the garlic pots, are made with mussels, clams and shrimp sautéed in butter and white wine mixed with fresh tomatoes and onions.
Even the handcrafted cocktails display flavors of epic proportions. “Our signature drink, the Tin Fish Tea, is a cultivation of classic flavors like lemonade and mint mixed with an eccentric taste of Jeremiah Weed Peach Tea Vodka,” said Bybyan Medina Bar Manager. The “Kelsarita” is a bold choice if you’re contemplating something different. Designed by Kelsey Simon, a main bartender at Tin Fish, the drink combines her favorite liquor, tequila, with fresh flavors like raspberry and coconut. It’s her rendition of a great margarita. Tin Fish also has happy hour unlike any other. Every day, not just the weekdays, Tin Fish offers half-off most drinks from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
And don’t forget Tin Fish’s feel-good weekly entertainment. Every Monday and Wednesday night, dance to the beat of favorite classic tunes by acoustic musician Walter Rooney and jazz artist Donna Singer. Every Thursday night, Tin Fish features open mic comedy night. And Fridays and Saturdays, get down to live music featuring talented local artists like Westminster Trio, Joey Calderaio and Taylor Road. It’s always a celebration of seafood, cocktails and entertainment at Tin Fish.[fruitful_sep]
