WPB Magazine’s New Edition: Summer Issue 2023

Art, entertainment, culture, travel reviews, dining, and interesting feature stories to explore and discover the best of West Palm Beach this summer. In this issue, WPB Magazine interviews Ghislain d’Humières on balancing the Norton’s history and future.

WPB Magazine’s summer issue is available now.

There are plenty of feature stories to read, including art, entertainment, culture, travel, dining, and feature stories to explore and discover the best of West Palm Beach and beyond.

You can read the digital edition for free at anytime here. If you are not a subscriber and want hard copies of this issue, they can be purchased here online and sent to your home or business address.

Here’s a recap of what you can find in the summer issue:

The Norton Museum of Art has undergone several renovations and expansions over the years. Now, more changes are underway, all overseen by director Ghislain d’Humières, a native of France. In this issue, WPB Magazine interviews Ghislain d’Humières on balancing the Norton’s history and future.

There are two featured stories about local artists. One is about artist Emmet Moore who has had a roundabout journey to create a large outdoor lighthouse sculpture for the recently opened Icon Marina Village. Also, there’s an exciting art installation in the City Hall plaza between the Mandel Library and City Hall that brings wild bears up close and personal in an installation by WPB artist Diane Arrieta.

In a first for West Palm Beach, the Garden District Taproom offers “pour your own spirits.” The newly-opened taproom was established by Josh and Rosie Hanson, who have developed a fondness for both craft beer and the city of West Palm Beach.

Discover how the newly opened The Park West Palm is shaping up the neighborhood and creating new paths for the next generation—golf attire not required!

For those planning a trip out of the state, check out a destination review by Sandra Schulman for a “Decadent Weekend in Beverly Hills.” The image of Rodeo Drive and Beverly Hills is one of luxury and international designer fashion with a storied, starry history. All of this is true with a surprising dollop of free-to-see public art in parks, on the streets, and in hotel lobbies.

Don’t miss Adan Revsen’s quarterly column: ‘Self’. In this issue, he writes about ceviche and has a few recipes to try this summer.

And there is more: News on arts, entertainment, food tips, season trends, crossword puzzles, and much more.

Read the digital edition for free here or purchase hardcopies at local retailers or online on wpbmagazine.com.
